We doubt too many people will be fooled by Googles new thinly disguised
courses. These videos push Google Cloud like they are selling diet pills.
If Google had to index these on the open web, they would be penalized as spam.
Again, Google has put out new info from last week promoting a new set of free generative AI video. The main thrust of the “courses” is to push people into using Google Cloud. (looking sideways at g…again). Looks more like an attempt to rewrite history than a viable attempt at education.
Highlights
- Google Cloud offers generative AI training course.
- Generative AI Studio and Model Garden, part of Generative AI support on Vertex AI, are now in preview. PaLM 2, a language model from Google, is being used in more than 25 products. (huh?)
