Adobe has announced the launch of its generative AI model, Adobe Firefly, that enables users to generate creative content. The AI tool is being launched in beta mode on a website and features two tools, one of which allows users to create images by typing in a prompt, while the other generates stylized text. Adobe plans to integrate the generative AI tools into its creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. Firefly will be trained on data from Adobe Stock library, licensed for training, or out of copyright. The company is also working on a compensation strategy for artists who contribute training data.
